See what's leaving, what's already covered, and what's actually yours to spend. Your whole month, clear before you live it.
Last month's categories tell you what happened. Open Wallet Finance shows what is claimed next, what is free, and whether the money for it is there yet.
A pocket labels money already in your bank, not a separate envelope. Unallocated is what is truly free to spend. Everything else is spoken for until you change it.
Pockets never transfer funds. The advisor and roadmap propose; you tap to apply, or you don't.
A single thread that already holds your balances, budgets, and bills. It proposes pocket and plan changes in plain English. You approve every one.
Pockets label money already sitting in your bank, so you can see what is spoken for and what is truly available. Nothing transfers. Your real balance simply becomes clearer.
Ask questions about your balances, spending, budgets, and bills in one ongoing conversation. Code calculates every figure, while the Advisor explains and proposes changes that only happen with your approval.
Rewards compares the cards you already carry against your spending. It shows what you earned, and what you may have missed — illustrative, not a guarantee.
The order things should happen in: clear the card, build the buffer, fund the trip, dated off your real cash flow. When something changes, the advisor redraws the order and moves the dates to match.
Balances, runway, pocket shortfalls, and rewards math are computed from your transactions by code before anything reaches the advisor.
The model only phrases what code already computed. It doesn't invent figures, move money, or change your plan without your approval.
Software for clarity — not a bank, and not financial advice.
No — and we couldn't if we tried. Our access through Plaid is read-only: we can't initiate transactions, move money, or change your accounts in any way. Your bank login goes directly to Plaid — we never see or store it.
New members get 7 days free. A card is required to start, but you won't be charged during the trial — cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. After the trial it's $12.99/month or $99.99/year plus applicable tax, and it auto-renews until you cancel.
Anytime. Go to Settings → Billing and choose Cancel. You can also email support@openwalletfinance.com. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the period you've paid for.
The balances, transactions, and recurring items we sync from Plaid, plus what you create in the app — budgets, pockets, goals. Everything is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Plaid access tokens are stored server-side only, encrypted — and your bank credentials are never stored, because we never see them.
Yes. Signed in, use Download my data on Account for a copy of everything we store for you (profile, settings, transactions, budgets, pockets, goals, recurring items, stored balances, advisor memory, and related records — not bank credentials or Plaid tokens). For an export you can also email support@openwalletfinance.com with the subject "Privacy Request" (45 days; Privacy §7.4). Deletion is in-app only: Account → Delete, then type "delete my account" — we don't accept deletion requests by email. Cancel is not delete. We start as soon as you confirm. Limited leftovers follow Privacy §6.2 (billing metadata, backups, Stripe, PostHog/Sentry, legal holds).
No. Open Wallet Finance is a financial information and educational tool — not a bank, not a registered investment advisor, and not a fiduciary. The Financial Age Score is an estimate, not a verdict — and not a credit score.
Everything above. One plan, no tiers. or $99.99/year — save about 36%.
Start free trialI cared about this early. I was reading about saving and budgeting and rewards at seventeen, and I still got it wrong. My pay came in at odd intervals. I mistimed one month and ended up somewhere I never wanted to be. Knowing better did not save me.
Every tool I opened explained a month I had already lived. None told me what was coming while there was still time to move. This is for whoever is sitting there with fifteen dollars in checking, doing the math on dinner. I have been that person. I am opening my wallet to you. You are not doing this alone.
7 days free. Payment method required. Then $12.99/month plus applicable tax; renews until you cancel.
